LA Girl Matte Flat Finish Pigment GLoss in Fleur

As you can remember, my last post in this blog is about the L.A. Splash liquid lipstick in Innocent Vixen, if you haven't read that already , you can read my review here: link. If you already read it you might know already that I was not impressed with that product. I really hated the cement formula and the crumbling, though I've read that the lighter colors are the ones that have the "not so good" formula.

Now I'll run a view for you about this liquid lipstick that I really fell in love with. Out of all the liquid lipstick that I have (another 3 brands I'll review soon), this one is the only one that made my lips very comfortable. It also is very affordable and will not hurt your pocket. Well anyway if I found another brand that will made my heart faster than this one, I will report it to you as soon as I can. Well then, lets get going to the review.

Claims:

Blurring the lines between lipstick and lip gloss, Matte Pigment Gloss has already become a favorite of makeup artists, blogger and fans. These 16 bold shades provide rich, intense color in a flat finish for all day wear. The long wearing formula goes on as a high pigmented liquid and dries to a flat matte finish. Leaving lips colored in gorgeous velvety perfection that last and lasts.

REVIEW:

So this is the LA Girl Liquid Lipstick in Fleur that really made my heart beat! The formula is just perfect for the lips (based on my experience). The liquid lipstick is enclosed with a plastic/acrylic clear tube with a black twist cap with a slightly flat dough foot applicator. The tube is a little bulky since its not slim a supposed to other liquid liptick. The pacjaging looks cheap since if you conpare them with the la splash, colourpop, gerard cosmetics and even milani packaging, they have thos gold and silver cap which really looks good in the collection. Any way, this one looks cheap but why not were here for the product itself right?

The formula of the product is just right. It comes out creamy from the tube and easy to apply and very pigmented as well. You'll get the color as in what the packaging looks like since the tube is clear, not like the other products I've tried that even though the tube of their lipsticks are clear, once you apply it, it'll give you a different color swatch. The product turns matte in at least 30 seconds for it to develop into its matte phase. The product gives of a Powder chemical smell which is not really that off, but If you don't like that smell it would not be a problem since it (smell) does not stay on the lips for a long time and would linger along your nose. The formula of this liquid lipstick is not drying at all. If you pucker your lips together it would not stick with each other not like those other liquid lipstick that I will review soon. This also does not have that finish that is like you have powder in your lips that would not go away. The shade of this one is like your own lips with a stain but a liquid lipstick., does not feel like you are wearing a liquid lipstick that is cement like.

Ingredients:

Swatch:

The shade "Fleur" is a warm shade. The color payoff is a warm nude orange or may I say coral shade. When swatched on the arm this gives a nude like warm pink shade like Gerard Cosmetics' Serenity but when swatched on the lips it gives off a red orange shade which looks good on all skin types. You can use this for a simple or even a glam look. This is a very unique color and will be a good addition to your lipstick squad collection!

Verdict:

Pros:
  • I really loved the formula of this one and I might say that I think this is the best formula of liquid lipstick (as of my collection of liquid lipsticks).
  • The wear time of this is at least 6 hours with drinking and eating. No retouch required.
  • Another good thing about this product is that you can build it up. You can place another layer on top a supposed to topping each layer and make it look bulky and patchy.
  • The retouch layer of the product dries up the same as the color of layer placed on first.
  • The formulation is very pigmented and in just one swipe you'll get the color payoff.
  • The price is very cheap and you'll get like a high quality product.

Cons:

  • The inner rim of the lips is the first one to fade since all, at least as of i know, is the one which fades first.
  • The packaging looks quite cheap.
  • Not available in the mall (as of the moment).
Recommendation:

I will actually recommend this one to everyone to buy one and try it for your self. You will love it too for sure. Based on my room view you can actually see that I really love this product and swear by it. Well this shade for sure. And what can I say it is a little lighter shade from Kathleen Lights Miami fever but this one is on the lighter shade and can be your everyday lipstick shade forever! Just like me! Lol!
